Creating an account is free. You only pay for the services/jobs requested.
Simply complete the online registration form on our website, email the required documents to admin@buildhero.co.za and submit your application for review. Vetting will take between 24 – 48 hours. Once successfully vetted, you will receive a confirmation email that your account has been created.
Start by filling in your primary details and selecting the service you're interested in. You'll then be asked a few quick questions for additional information and you will have the option to upload images related to your request. Based on this, BuildHero will match you with vetted service providers in your area that best fit your needs.
Yes. BuildHero charges a subscription fee of R199* per month, with the first month free.
Yes, you can request and compare quotes from multiple service providers before making a decision.
Approval is based on business legitimacy, compliance with industry standards and service quality - meeting BuildHero's vetting requirements.
Log into your account, select the service category, fill in your project details and submit the request to match your request to local suppliers.
You can log into your dashboard at any time to update your details, such as contact information, services offered or locations.
BuildHero accepts secure online payments including credit/debit cards and EFTs.

Yes, after your project is complete, you can rate and review your supplier to help others make informed choices.
Performance is reviewed based on customer feedback, job completion rates, communication, timelines and compliance.
Customers can view the status of their jobs directly on their dashboard. They can also adjust site visit times or send additional notes to the service provider through the project/job profile, keeping all communication in one place.
Yes, suppliers may apply to list multiple services, provided they can meet the required criteria for each.
Customers can log a dispute on an active job through their portal as soon as the issue arises. If the dispute occurs once the job is completed, customers have 24 hours to log it.
BuildHero will flag the issue, acknowledge receipt of the dispute and communicate the resolution. This process may result in a refund depending on the outcome.
Invoices and payments are managed securely through your dashboard. BuildHero ensures timely payments once jobs are completed and approved.
Yes. Customers can email support@buildhero.co.za with their job number included in the request. Queries will be addressed during office hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.
If you experience any technical issues with the platform, your dashboard, or with a current job, you can contact our support team directly by emailing support@buildhero.co.za.
